Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026
Who we are: isekio, operated by Jarrah Lynch (ABN 34 580 154 022) (“isekio”, “we”, “us”).
Contact: info@isekio.com.au

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name, email, firm/practice name, letterhead/branding details, and login credentials.
  • Waitlist information: the email address you submit to join early access.
  • Report content (“Inputs and Outputs”): the addresses, records, evidence, gradings and report text you enter or generate. This may incidentally include personal information about third parties (e.g. property owners) that you choose to input — you are responsible for having the right to provide it.
  • Billing information: processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles payment data under its own terms.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser information, and basic usage logs, used to run and secure the service. Privacy-friendly analytics may be used (no cross-site advertising trackers).

2. How we use it

To create and run your account; generate report drafts; provide traceability and export; process payments; provide support; secure and improve the service; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. AI processing of report content

To generate drafts, the report content you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which processes it to return drafted text. Under Anthropic’s commercial API terms, your inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. Anthropic processes this data as our sub-processor. See Anthropic’s data-handling terms for details.

4. Automated processing and decision-making

isekio uses automated processing (AI) to draft report text from the material you provide. It is a drafting aid only. isekio does not use automated decision-making to make, or substantially assist in making, decisions about you or any other individual. Every judgement and decision — including significance grading and findings — is made by the professional using isekio, who reviews each draft before relying on it. We do not use your personal information for profiling or automated eligibility decisions.

5. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We use trusted providers to run isekio, disclosing only what’s needed:

  • Anthropic — AI drafting (United States).
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Our email provider — transactional and account email.

Some of these process data outside Australia (including the United States). By using isekio you consent to this cross-border disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers handle your information consistently with the APPs. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, unless we’re required to retain it (e.g. for tax or legal reasons). You can request deletion (see clause 8).

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information (encryption in transit, access controls, reputable infrastructure providers). No system is perfectly secure; we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a data breach likely to cause serious harm occurs, we will act in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and can ask us to delete it, by emailing info@isekio.com.au. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and run the service. Any analytics we use is privacy-respecting and not used for cross-site advertising.

10. Children

isekio is a professional tool intended for adults; it is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified (e.g. by email or in-app). The “effective date” shows the current version.

The automated-processing disclosure in clause 4 is written with the Privacy Act automated-decision-making transparency reforms in mind — the ADM privacy-policy obligation commences 10 December 2026.
